100 ITERATIONS
Each student was assigned a letter, mine being the letter X, and created 100 iterations of that letter in different styles.
PROCESS
TOP 5
Next, we chose our favorite 5 styles, and used them to design for the letters O, H, N, A and S. From here, we chose our favorite style for our final font, mine being the 3rd row.

1ST CALLIGRAPHR ITERATION
Using a program called Calligraphr, we designed a fill alphabet for our chosen font style. I identified that I did not like how thin the lines appear in some of the letters.

FINAL FONT
After making the appropriate adjustments, the final font was created. I wanted my font to evoke the same feeling of the fluidity and magic of the official Disney font.

INSTAGRAM CAROUSEL
Next, we created an Instagram Carousel introducing our font, with one of the slides being a unique animation.
ANIMATION
MATERIALITY
Finally, students were instructed to present their created font in a physical form, using a word that is not the name of their font. Since my font plays on the idea of being artistic and "making it yours", I decided to cut out the word "vivid" in a piece of plastic, so that the user could hold it up to any given background, making the word take on that pattern of whatever it is held in front of.
